Trethowans win Mid-range Deal of the Year (£10m - £50m) at the Solent Deals Awards 2024

Trethowans are celebrating winning the Mid-range Deal of the Year category (£10m- £50m) at the Solent Deals Awards 2024, run by The Business Magazine.

This year’s awards ceremony returned to the Hilton at the Utilita Bowl at a glittering event where the winners were announced. The room was filled with the biggest names in the region, representing talent from across the Solent region’s corporate finance sector.

Trethowans Partners Nick Gent and Lucy Gleisner jointly lead the transaction. Nick Gent advised, “We are pleased to have been recognised in this category for the support that we provided to the shareholders of Jimmy’s Iced Coffee in their sale to Britvic in 2023.

“It’s a wonderful success story and a deal which is of significant importance to the Solent region. Huge thanks are due to all of the Trethowans team involved.”

Hosted by TV presenter Mark Durden-Smith, the Awards also provided an opportunity for networking and charity fundraising.

Independent judges worked alongside The Business Magazine’s core panel to assess multiple entries across 13 categories. For the Mid-range Deal award, the judges’ votes counted for 70% and voting by the audience on the night for 30%.
