Trethowans completes sale of Chiltern Timber Supplies
Trethowans has successfully completed the sale of Chiltern Timber Supplies Limited, an independent builders’ merchants, to an entity within the Lords Group.
Chiltern Timber operate from a single site in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. The business specialises in providing hardwoods, special timber sections, timber landscaping products and veneered sheet material. It also operates a milling facility, allowing it to differentiate its service from that of its competitors
The transaction, led by Partner Lucy Gleisner, completed on 31 March 2023 and is one of many deals that Trethowans has completed this year.
“It has been a pleasure to support Gerry and his team on the sale, enabling them to transfer ownership of the company to Lords in order to drive further growth” said Lucy, who is Head of the Corporate Team at Trethowans. “There are strong synergies between the two companies and the acquisition will complement Lords’ current locations and product ranges.”
