Trethowans continues support for Bournemouth Pavilion for sixth year
Trethowans has shown its commitment to Bournemouth Pavilion for the sixth consecutive year, as part of its ongoing drive to support and give back to the Dorset community.
Trethowans support will go towards maintaining the destination’s beautiful art deco Grade II listed venue and ensuring that it continues to be a cultural hub. Built in the 1920s, Bournemouth Pavilion is a key and pivotal landmark in Bournemouth. It hosts more than 350 cultural and entertainment performances every year including musicals, pantomimes, dance, comedy and concerts, as well as being a popular venue for diners, community events and exhibitions.
Kimberley Davies, Partner at Trethowans said, “The Pavilion draws so many people into the town each year with a diverse range of performances. It’s very much a community hub. It’s hugely important to Trethowans to give back and it’s a real honour to be making a difference in Bournemouth to this enterprising charity.”
BH Live is a charitable social enterprise. It runs Bournemouth Pavilion in partnership with BCP Council. Steve Turner, BH Live’s Director of Venues said, “The Pavilion is a place of great joy and year-round entertainment and is one of our town’s greatest assets. Its diverse cultural event programme brings thousands of people together to enjoy shared experiences and special feelgood moments.
“Thanks to Trethowans ongoing support we can reach even more people across the region to experience the joy of live theatre and entertainment.”
