Andrew joined Trethowans in 1995 to head up the Family Team. Since then the team has grown significantly across all offices and is acknowledged as a leader in the South, with 4 experienced family partners and numerous collaboratively or mediation trained lawyers, promoting alternative resolution approaches when it comes to family breakdown.
Andrew specialises in advising on the financial remedies arising from separation and divorce. He strongly advocates the benefits of adopting a no Court, non confrontational approach to family law – especially in the resolution and mediation of issues involving finances. He is also a long standing member of Resolution and a collaboratively trained lawyer since 2005.
Away from the office
Andrew is a diehard Bath Rugby season ticket holder, a passionate open water swimmer and eclectic live music fan. His weekends are spent pursuing these passions in his campervan called Ralph.
